How SONICE Built Long-Term Cooperation Through an A9 Glove Trial Order
One day last year, SONICE received an inquiry from a new customer looking for high-protection A9 gloves with impact protection.
The customer wanted a glove that could provide both high-level cut resistance and impact protection. They also hoped to customize the product according to their own requirements.
For a first-time buyer, product performance, price, and customization are all important. However, after further communication, we found that the required quantity was too small to meet the MOQ for full customization.
Instead of simply rejecting the request, we looked for a more practical solution.
Based on the customer’s required protection level, application, and order quantity, SONICE recommended another existing model that was more suitable for this first order.

A More Practical Solution for a Small Order
After reviewing the product specifications and quotation, the customer accepted the recommended model.
We then prepared a quotation based on the actual quantity required and clearly confirmed the product details and order terms.
Because this was our first cooperation, the customer was still cautious about working with a new supplier. Instead of placing a large order directly, they decided to begin with a small trial order.
This is also a common approach for many new SONICE customers.
A trial order gives buyers the opportunity to check the actual product quality, protection performance, workmanship, and supplier reliability before moving to larger quantities.
After the final product details and quantity were confirmed, we prepared a new PI according to the agreed order information.
The customer reviewed the PI and completed the payment as agreed.

Clear Communication from Payment to Delivery
After receiving the payment, we confirmed the shipping address and delivery information with the customer again before arranging shipment.
Once the goods were dispatched, our team continued to follow the shipment status and kept the customer updated.
When the package entered the local delivery and customs clearance process, we reminded the customer to keep their phone available and pay attention to any communication from the courier or local customs authority.
We also advised the customer to cooperate with the local customs clearance process and complete any required duties or taxes in time.
This helped reduce the risk of unnecessary delays during final delivery.
The customer successfully received the goods and checked the products.
After receiving the order, the customer told us that they were satisfied with both the Gloves and the overall cooperation process.

From One Trial Order to Three Repeat Orders
The first order was only the beginning of the cooperation.
After testing the first batch, the customer gained a clearer understanding of SONICE’s product quality and order execution.
Since then, the customer has already placed three repeat orders with us.
The cooperation gradually developed from an initial trial order into a stable purchasing relationship.
Trust was not built through one quotation alone. It was built through every step of the process, including product recommendation, order confirmation, payment, shipment, delivery, and after-sales communication.
Today, the customer is not only continuing to purchase existing products but is also showing interest in new SONICE glove models for future orders.

What We Learned from This Project
For B2B buyers, the requirements mentioned in the first inquiry are not always the most practical solution for the final order.
In this case, the customer originally wanted a customized product.
However, because the order quantity was limited, full customization would have increased both the cost and the complexity of the first cooperation.
Instead of asking the customer to increase the quantity simply to reach the customization MOQ, we focused on another question:
What is the most suitable product for the customer’s current quantity and application?
By using an existing model, starting with a small trial order, and keeping the process clear, the customer was able to reduce the risk of working with a new supplier.
For SONICE, the goal is not only to complete one order.
We aim to provide suitable products, reliable communication, and stable delivery so that a first trial order can gradually develop into long-term cooperation.
