Cleaning Steps:
CHECK LABELS: Check the cleaning and care instructions on the gloves first, if they have labels.
REMOVE RESIDUE: Shake or scrape as much dirt, debris, or other residue off the surface of the glove as possible before washing.
Choose a detergent: For most non-chemical protective gloves, mild soapy water is usually sufficient.
Hand or Machine Wash: Some gloves can be machine washed (using cold water and a gentle cycle), while others need to be hand washed. Avoid using bleach as it may damage the glove material.
Rinse Thoroughly: Make sure all soap is rinsed out so that residue does not affect the performance of the glove.
Drying: Avoid direct sunlight and sources of heat, such as heaters or dryers, which can cause gloves to distort or degrade the material. It is best to leave the gloves to dry naturally in a cool, ventilated area.
Maintenance advice:
REGULAR INSPECTION: Regularly inspect gloves for wear, cracks or damage which may affect their protective properties.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store gloves in a clean, dry place at a moderate temperature, avoiding direct contact with chemicals or sharp objects.
Avoid stretching: Do not overstretch gloves, especially latex and nitrile gloves, as this may cause them to lose their elasticity.
Keep them separate: If possible, store different types of gloves separately to prevent cross-contamination.
Wear correctly: Ensure that gloves are worn correctly each time they are used and do not wear torn or ill-fitting gloves.
